One Bangkok is a completely new and fully integrated district development in the centre of Bangkok. With a total floor space of 1.83 million m², One Bangkok is the largest private real estate development initiative ever realised in Thailand.

As part of the building construction, 700 bored piles with diameters of 1,500 and 1,800mm to a depth of 80m were produced with a total of four Bauer drilling rigs. In addition, a Bauer BG 45, equipped with the company's adaptive Kelly retraction speed assistant was in use on site.

The Kelly speed assistant is a piece of innovative technology that automatically regulates the optimal winch speed when extending and retracting the Kelly bar - a significant leap in terms of operator comfort. The rig operator monitors the entire process on the screen in the cab. In the event of a malfunction, the assistant automatically stops the winch and can thus prevent the Kelly from falling through.

Bauer's automatic assistant includes a display of Kelly locks using the Kelly visualization, which allows a wear-reducing, accurate approach of the locking positions. This ensures optimum work safety on the construction site and increases productivity.
