Making hay while the sun shines

When I wrote last month’s editorial column, I bemoaned the travel restrictions that meant I would be unable to attend both MINExpo in Las Vegas and Geofuild in Italy. However, within days of finishing that issue of GDI the regulations in Italy were relaxed and I suddenly found myself on a plane bound for Milan and then on to Piacenza for Geofluid.
