Doyle will be drawing on his 15 years of industry experience to help enhance Bachy Soletanche's presence across Scotland. Having worked for the company for eight years, he brings a wealth of knowledge in developing new business opportunities for the company, Bachy stated.
Doyle commented on his new position: "Bachy Soletanche is responsible for a large number of high-profile geotechnical projects across the UK, including Lee Tunnel, Crossrail, Beauly Denny, A77 Ayrshire and Edinburgh Tram. This investment in Scotland provides myself, and the wider company, with a unique opportunity to build on this reputation and ensure it is holistic across the UK.
"At present the construction industry is growing from strength to strength. Scotland is an area that offers huge commercial potential for the company and it is our intention to ensure we are developing on this and offering our innovative geotechnical solutions across the country."
Chris Merridew, director of Bachy Soletanche, said: "There is no denying the potential for work within Scotland, which amounts to about 6% of the UK construction output. Bachy used to have a full-time presence in Scotland, and with this appointment we are renewing this commitment to existing and future clients."
