"Scotland has always been a big market for us, and in order to provide better service levels to our numerous Scottish customers, we knew we needed a dedicated hub in Scotland," National Pile Croppers national sales manager, Scott Fitchett, said. "To this end, we have now established a dedicated depot located in Airdrie, from which we can supply, service and advise on the best use of our pile croppers throughout Scotland."

The Airdrie depot has room for an array of pile croppers along with a workshop to ensure that the croppers are easily supplied to where they are needed and kept in the best possible condition. The depot is headed up by Bob Dyce, workshop and plant manager, who operates closely with regional sales manager Stephen Wyber to ensure that Scottish customers get the very best in service and equipment.

We are thus able to get our croppers to where they are needed

"From the Airdrie base, we are able to cover the whole of Scotland, if not easily, then efficiently. We are thus able to get our croppers to where they are needed. The depot's workshop facilities enable us to service the croppers before and after any rental to ensure they are kept in the best possible condition so as to provide the best performance for our valued customers," Fitchett said.

"Currently amongst our regular customers, we have some of the leading players in Scottish construction. These comprise of a variety of businesses and specialisms, ranging from large strategic infrastructure projects to localised housing and road construction. We've formed a close working relationship with these companies, and it gives us an enormous amount of satisfaction to be able to provide them with even greater levels of service," Fitchett concluded.
