Mine water heat - a proven success

In the UK, Coal Authority mine water heat experts say there are great opportunities for coalfield communities to help achieve net zero after the nation’s first large-scale network was hailed a success, after six months of operation.

A disused mine site is now providing hot water and heat to hundreds of homes and businesses in the North of England
