The ML Max is a high-quality dynamic drilling rig capable of soil sampling, SPT testing and rotary coring in rock and is fitted with Jean Lutz Instrumentation to measure drilling parameters in situ.
The rigs are described by the company as having already proven to be an excellent choice.
The well-known Fraste ‘Manipulator' automatic drill rod loading system has been fitted to both rigs, enabling Raeburn to dramatically reduce manual handling. In addition, the Fraste rig features an automatic SPT hammer and water/mud flush pumps.
In keeping with the Company's strict adherence to environmental standards, the new Fraste rigs have a Tier 5 engine and utilise biodegradable oil for the hydraulic system to ensure the protection of sensitive sites and watercourses.
