Lankelma and ConeTec together will expand the ConeTec Group's geographic reach while increasing capabilities in nearshore marine site investigation critical to the worldwide expansion of offshore wind energy.

"We're very excited about this expansion into the UK and European marketplace," said Jamie Sharp, ConeTec CEO. "Lankelma's commitment to safety, quality and innovation is a shared mission of ConeTec. We see this as a great opportunity for Lankelma to expand their services in the region while widening their capabilities as a part of the ConeTec Group. Lankelma's location in the South of England will remain the base of operations for Lankelma's full fleet of land and nearshore equipment, including unique capabilities for offroad, rail, nearshore and offshore marine projects."

Chris Dimelow, incoming managing director of Lankelma, said: "Joining ConeTec accelerate and enable implementation of R&D initiatives that Lankelma simply couldn't do on our own. With similar culture and purpose, we are excited to join ConeTec and together we plan to leverage each other's strengths to be the premier CPT and site characterisation company."

"Like ConeTec, Lankelma's fleet is purpose-built and operated by some of the most talented people in the industry," Sharp said. "There is a strong mutual respect for each other that will influence continued growth and collaboration for decades to come. Together, we aim to be the most respected site characterisation firm worldwide."
