"The origins of Bauer mechanical engineering really lie in specialist civil engineering," said Bernhard Lindermair, managing director of RTG, explaining how the specialist foundation engineering segment of Bauer already has a long business relationship with thyssenkrupp Infrastructure.

The expertise in specialist foundation engineering also flowed into the development of the RG 19 T, which will in future be let by thyssenkrupp Infrastructure to civil engineering customers. The pile driver is characterised by its extremely high performance.

"It is particularly suitable for heavy continuous use," said Lindermair. "Thanks to the SilentVibro sound-insulated vibrator, the device is also extremely quiet and therefore predestined for use, for example, in inner cities. At the same time, the Energy Efficiency Power technology developed by Bauer ensures maximum energy efficiency with reduced fuel consumption."

Three more RTG devices are to be handed over to thyssenkrupp Infrastructure later this year and will then be available to customers in the four German sales regions as well as Austria and Denmark.
