Stephen Muck, TyBot CEO and co-founder, announced that the company will be taking deposits for first quarter 2020 TyBot deliveries, saying: "We are excited to announce that we are now ready to provide units for sale to general and speciality contractors around the world."

Despite the change to availability, the company will continue to provide lease options to its domestic US market.

‘'With less than three years from concept, we are prepared to manufacture, market, service and sell this innovative solution to the construction industry worldwide. We can manufacture and deliver about 20 units for sale in 2020 and hope to have that capacity more than doubled in 2021,'' added Muck.

Last year, TyBot, along with Brayman Construction Corporation, was awarded the Associated General Contractors of America 100th Anniversary Innovation Award. The company's robot reduces labour, increases productivity, improves safety and contributes to reducing schedule durations.

TyBot is the first commercially available construction robot of its kind entering the heavy civil construction market. Advanced Construction Robotics, TyBot's parent company, is currently making adaptations to TyBot so that it has broader applications in other markets like commercial building and the precast industry.

The robots will also be available with upgrade options for buyers seeking added specialized modifications.
