Rio Tinto has ordered several Pit Viper 271 drill rigs for use at its network of iron ore mines in Pilbara in Western Australia

Rio Tinto, one of the world's largest global mining companies, is operating a highly advanced integrated network of iron ore mines in Pilbara in Western Australia and for use on those sites it has ordered several Pit Viper 271 and SmartROC D65 drill rigs.

The order exceeds SEK130 million (US$15 million) in value and was booked in the first quarter 2021.
