Challenging offshore conditions are overcome by Bauer Spezialtiefbau piling team

Installing 190 subsea drilled and grouted pin piles for 62 wind turbine generator locations and one offshore substation around 16km off the coast of northern France is a challenge. However, Bauer Spezialtiefbau is also having to deal with subsoils with strengths in excess of 150MPa while utilising brand-new technology which is fully remote controlled from a command centre on an offshore construction vessel as part of the foundation work for the new Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm.
