How can I be so confident? Well, I'm typing this using just one hand. A cycling accident this morning left me with a broken collarbone, so surely things can only get better, right?

I'm also confident that GDI will be better next year, both in print and online. Plans are in place to launch a redesigned and much-improved website, and I'm talking to contributors, advertisers and readers to discover just what you all want to see in the magazine each month and, just as importantly, what you don't want to see. After all, GeoDrilling International is the magazine for the geotechnical drilling sector, and so it is my job to make its content as relevant and, indeed, informative and entertaining as possible.
