With a favorable power-to-weight ratio, delivering greater power to the ground, and improved traction compared with other machines in the <140hp range, Develon's new DD100 features a six-way variable angle pitch blade that allows operators to lift, tilt and angle the standard 2.22m3 blade for more precise grading.
A 2.58m3 capacity blade is an option but both come with a two-way mechanical blade pitch adjustment for greater control over digging angles. A blade shake feature has also been added to help operators quickly clear material build-up.
Powered by a 3.4l D34 diesel engine, the DD100 meets stage V emissions standards. Reduced fuel consumption and emissions are further optimised by way of an ECO mode, which lowers pump power output, and auto idle and auto engine shutdown features.
In the cab, operators benefit from a GPS-based 3D machine guidance and control system developed in partnership with Trimble/Leica/Topcon. While this is an option, electrohydraulic controls come standard, allowing operators to customise the machine's responsiveness to match their experience level.

To keep maintenance costs down, the DD100 has an in-line pre-cleaner integrated with the air cleaner to help extend filter life by expelling debris such as mud, snow and dust.
Key undercarriage service points are easily accessible, including a removable side panel for tension system greasing. A high-performance fuel water separator and dual fuel filters help improve fuel purity and reduce system failures, while a rear-mounted cooling system with a reversible fan supports reliability and improved visibility.
