Viking West is an engineering design and manufacturing company that provides products, customisation and replacement parts solutions for all types of heavy equipment.

An agency agreement with Viking West is seen as a suitable move by both parties, allowing Dando to further expand into North America and increasing exposure for Viking West in Europe as well.

Dando's new agent will be able to provide in-country support to its customers in the US and Canada, with strategically located offices across the region and highly skilled people on the ground.

Dando's Callum Mee commented: "The market has changed; people are looking for multi-purpose rigs and maybe not such large and singular dedicated rigs, and that's something we've always been involved in. Bigger has always been better, but that's not the case right now. North America is starting to see the benefits of using smaller machinery."

Dando and Viking will be presenting their products, including the Dando Terrier, at the upcoming NGWA Groundwater Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, on December 15-17, 2015.
