Doosan Bobcat has unveiled the latest R‑Series compact loaders for the European market, alongside a new Stage V-compliant T650 compact track loader.

Making their European debut at SaMoTer 2026 in Verona, Italy, the updated R‑Series includes the T66-2, T76-2 and T86-2 compact track loaders, and S66-2, S76-2 and S86-2 skid-steer models.

Enhancements have focussed on reliability, productivity and user experience, supported by a redesigned electrical system aimed at improving durability in demanding environments.

Additional upgrades include factory-installed frame seals, improved harness and hose protection, relocation of the hydraulic sight gauge and upgraded exterior decals, all contributing to reduced maintenance and increased uptime.

Operator comfort and control are central to the redesign, with a refined cab layout that incorporates modern charging options, improved control interfaces and enhanced visibility and accessibility.  For instance, a new 8-inch (1280 x 720) glove-friendly touchscreen display delivers intuitive navigation and real-time machine data, bringing a more automotive-style interface to compact equipment.

Four drive modes – Balanced, Agile, Dynamic and Charged – enable operators to tailor responsiveness to skill level and application, replacing the previous three-setting configuration with a broader performance range.

Performance upgrades are particularly notable on the S86-2 and T86-2 models, where lift height has increased from approximately 3.4m to 3.7m, allowing easier loading of high-sided trucks and higher material stacking.

Engine power on these models has been ramped up from 77kW to 85.75kW, delivering greater output for heavy-duty tasks.

Complementing the R‑Series, Bobcat also introduced the new T650 compact track loader, engineered for Stage V emissions compliance.

Manufactured at Bobcat's Dobris facility in the Czech Republic, the machine is powered by a 2.4l engine delivering 55kW. With a rated operating capacity of 1192kg and a vertical lift path, the T650 is well suited to truck loading, pallet handling and confined job sites.

Designed for durability and uptime, the T650 features a robust steel frame, efficient cooling, broad attachment compatibility with the proprietary Bob-Tach™ mounting system, optional High-Flow hydraulics and standard Machine IQ telematics for smarter fleet management. Operator comfort and precise control complete the package, making the T650 a versatile, dependable solution for year-round work.

Bobcat Product Manager for loaders, Katinka Kincses commented: "The compact track loader sector is highly important in Italy and the rest of Europe due to the nature of the work in progress such as road maintenance, infrastructure construction or the laying of fibre optic networks. Bobcat is very well positioned thanks to its range of models and in particular the T650 and now the new T76-2 and T86-2 track loaders."
